When Animals Fight Back of the Day: A hunter in Belarus who shot and wounded a fox sought to finish it off with the butt of his rifle, when the sly animal reached up its paw and pulled the trigger, injuring his would-be assassin before scurrying to safety.

The hunter is reportedly in the hospital, where he is recovering from a leg wound.

Your Least Favorite Book

This is a tough call. I feel like I can’t say Twilight, because I’ve only read the first two chapters. Which, incidentally, taxed my immune system’s ability to deal with the presence of things written by Stephenie Meyer.

I guess it would have to be The Da Vinci Code, for daring to be published while I languish as a penniless wordsmith.
